Rosie Batty - the 2015 Australian of the Year, was the guest speaker at the Zonta Domestic Violence Awareness breakfast in Mount Isa. Rosie spoke of her struggle with domestic violence and her work to make a difference since the death of her beloved son Luke. Ruswin is a long term sponsor of this event and we enjoyed welcoming the Police Commissioner Ian Stewart, District Superintendent Kev Guteridge, Mayor Joyce Mcculloch, Mr Robbie Katter and many other guests. Another sold out event ensures that members of the Mount Isa community continue to create greater awareness and to be active in making a difference in the fight against domestic violence.
