We often think because we are at home and our keys are inside, our house, vehicle and garage are secure. However a high number of opportunistic burglaries are when people are at home, out in the yard or enjoying the pool.
Ensure your keys are not in an easily accessible area. Hall tables, hanging near the front door or on the kitchen bench are easy targets. Find a cupboard to put them away or better still, install a small home safe.
